Location

Dudinka is the administrative centre of Taymyrsky Dolgano-Nenetsky district, the northernmost district of Krasnoyarsk Krai, the second biggest subject of Russian Federation. Having a population of only 20000, Dudinka is relatively close to Norilsk, the second biggest city behind the Arctic Circle. Dudinka is situated on the bank of the Yenisei river, and is surrounded by the hundreds of kilometres of untouched Siberian nature.

This part of the Arctic, green in the summer and snow covered in the winter, is both harsh and beautiful. the unconquered lands welcome explorers and tourists alike, as new infrastructure is being build all the time. In 2014, Taymyr Ice Arena was built, signifying a large step in development of the area. In 2016 a kids curling school was opened in Dudinka, sponsored by the local industries.
